Job DescriptionPre-Engineered Metal Building Estimator and CoordinatorFerguson Construction is a well-established general contractor with over 100 years of experience. We specialize in industrial and commercial projects, with an in-house design department and skilled labor crews.As the Pre-Engineered Metal Building Estimating Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include estimating material and labor costs, and coordinating deliveries of pre-engineered metal buildings and accessories.Essential duties include:Using supplier programs to estimate building package costs.Performing quantity takeoffs and developing costs for labor and equipment.Estimating and purchasing parts such as insulated metal wall panels, roofing, doors, and other accessories.Collaborating with design teams on building layouts and details.Identifying value engineering opportunities.Building relationships with suppliers that align with company values.Coordinating with design and operations teams on drawings and deliveries.Analyzing historical cost data for budgeting and pricing.Communicating effectively across all office regions.The ideal candidate will have:Knowledge of steel erection, siding, roofing, and sheet metal work.Strong organizational and planning skills.Understanding of how estimating supports construction operations.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in MS Office.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Ferguson Construction offers a competitive salary and benefits, including medical, life insurance, vacation, 401(k), profit sharing, and bonuses.We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
