About the role
Full‐time (37.5 hrs per week) contract opportunity based in Karratha, Pilbara. The role is part of the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC) Pilbara program, delivering stepped mental health support for people aged 16+ and providing trauma‐informed, culturally safe, person‐centred care in partnership with GPs, allied health and community services.
Responsibilities include delivering coordinated clinical support, overseeing holistic, trauma‐informed services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive high‐quality outcomes in a regional setting.
Qualifications
* Hold a tertiary qualification in science (nursing)
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, including assessment, safety planning and care coordination
* Skills in leading clinical assessments and developing individualised care plans
* Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with community and health service partners
* Previous leadership experience in clinical governance, quality improvement and staff supervision is highly valued
* Adaptability to regional and remote settings, with cultural responsiveness and commitment to equity and inclusion
Requirements
Must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Driver's licence, and a WA Working With Children Check. The organisation may request an international police clearance if necessary.
Remuneration and Benefits
* Salary starting from $129,279 per annum (inclusive of 10% remote locality allowance) + 12% super
* Tax‐free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum
* Rent subsidy up to $350 per week and electricity allowance up to $1,000 per annum available (eligibility criteria apply)
* Additional 8 days of annual leave per year
