About the Role
This leadership position plays a pivotal role in driving customer value, strategic growth, operational performance and digital transformation across wool broking, livestock and grain agency businesses.
Reporting to the Divisional CEO, you will lead a national team of 350+ sales professionals, increase customer presence, expand market share and deliver innovative digital and financial solutions.
The role oversees livestock financing, digital listing tools and strategic partnerships while embedding ESG, safety and sustainability across the network.
You'll work cross-functionally and represent the company across industry, regulatory and client relationships, supporting key business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute national strategies to drive market share growth, client acquisition and business innovation across wool broking, livestock and grain businesses.
2. Build capability across a high-performing workforce with a focus on engagement, safety, succession and recruitment strategies for sales reps and agents.
3. Strengthen the company's presence in the market by representing the brand with key clients, suppliers and industry bodies.
4. Foster customer-centric thinking across all channels ensuring value delivery and tailored solutions for producers.
5. Oversee national operations including auction channels, regulatory compliance and P&L performance.
6. Ensure strong governance and compliance by leading risk management, regulatory adherence and audit accountability.
7. Embed sustainability and ESG principles into operations promoting ethical sourcing, animal welfare and long-term environmental responsibility.
About You
As a commercially-minded leader with deep agribusiness experience, you have a passion for delivering growth, value and innovation to rural Australia.
You possess:
1. Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering value and innovation to producers.
2. Tertiary qualifications in Business or Agriculture or a related field.
3. Extensive senior leadership experience in the wool, livestock and/or grain industry.
4. Demonstrated capability in driving business growth and operational excellence.
5. Strategic planning and financial acumen with deep understanding of performance metrics and P&L accountability.
6. Proven people leadership with a focus on mentoring, engagement, recruitment and enabling a high-performing culture.
