Our Endoscopy Unit at Launceston Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.

As a patient care specialist, you will be responsible for welcoming and admitting patients into our unit, assisting medical officers during procedures, providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure, and building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication.

Responsibilities:

* Welcoming and admitting patients into our unit
","
* Assisting medical officers during procedures (Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Cystoscopy)
","
* Providing safe and supportive recovery for patients post-procedure
","
* Building strong connections with patients and their families through clear and compassionate communication
","
","
Required Skills and Qualifications:
","
* AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
","
* Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings
","
* Ideal exposure to Endoscopy or Theatre
","
* Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills
","
* A passion for patient-centred care and being part of a values-driven organisation
