G.James Windows & Doors is seeking a hands‐on Production Supervisor to join our Hervey Bay branch.
In this role, you will oversee daily factory operations, including labour coordination, production flow, dispatch, stock control, and WHS standards. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are manufactured safely, efficiently, to quality expectations, and delivered in full and on time.

The Role
* Production Operations: Coordinate labour, materials, and schedules to meet production targets, ensuring efficient workflow and DIFOT performance
* Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high‐performing culture
* Safety & Compliance: Lead WHS practices, conduct toolbox talks, ensure compliance, and maintain safe work standards
* Quality & Continuous Improvement: Monitor product quality, minimise rework, and drive process improvements
* Logistics & Coordination: Oversee dispatch, stock control, and workflow across production to support on‐time delivery
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the Factory Manager and internal teams to support operational outcomes and resolve issues
About You
* Previous supervisory or leading‐hand experience in manufacturing, logistics, transport, construction, or a similar environment
* Strong understanding of WHS practices and operational processes
* Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams
* Well‐organised with strong problem‐solving and decision‐making capability
* Systems experience (MS Office; Oracle and LISEC advantageous)
