Job Overview
The Site Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing live construction sites, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet program and compliance standards.
* Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety (WHS) by conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety audits.
* Manage project scheduling, daily targets, and short-term lookaheads to ensure timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
* Monitor site quality, compliance, and contract specifications to guarantee exceptional results.
* Coordinate trades, deliveries, inspections, and defects close-out to maintain project momentum.
* Work closely with Program Managers (PMs) on claims, variations, and progress reporting to ensure transparency and accuracy.
* Represent the company with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders through effective communication and relationship-building.
* A solid understanding of design and construct (D&C) delivery methods and live-site coordination techniques.
* Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination skills to navigate complex projects and team dynamics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar site management platforms to optimize project planning and execution.
* Current White Card and relevant construction tickets to ensure adherence to industry standards.
