Clinical Aged Care Assessor Registered Nurse
$36.38 - $51.08 per hour + Superannuation
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognizes the key role health workers play in delivering rural and remote health services and aims to provide incentives beyond award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Role Overview
The Aged Care Assessor / Specialist Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive assessment services and care planning to determine the needs of frail, older people in community, residential, and hospital settings within the FWLHD.

Application Process

* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Postgraduate experience with older adults in relevant settings
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Effective communication and computer literacy
* Understanding of the health needs of older people and their carers
* Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C)
* Current Working with Children, Aged Care, and NDIS checks
