People Division delivers a range of contemporary HR functions, projects and strategies across three branches: People People Safety, Support & Wellbeing Professional, Ethical Standards & Security As an Assistant Director in People Division, you will lead the delivery of people-centric HR services and initiatives across a diverse department with a geographically dispersed workforce. You will manage complex and sensitive HR matters and provide high-quality advice, and will build and sustain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You will provide personalised case management services tailored to the needs of the department. This is a great opportunity to lead the delivery of people-centric rehabilitation services and initiatives across a diverse department with a geographically dispersed workforce. You will need a strong understanding of contemporary case management strategies, demonstrated experience with interpretation and application of relevant legislation, the ability to quickly interpret, implement and explain internal rehabilitation, return to work, and leave policies and procedures. You will also bring demonstrated experience in health and/or workers compensation case management. Assistant Director, HR Help (People Safety, Support & Wellbeing Branch) - Vacancy to be filled in either Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney. In this role you will lead our HR Help team and manage a range of HR matters - from routine questions to more complex issues - ensuring responses are accurate and timely, and design and deliver HR Information sessions to staff. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the HR Help team, including staff development, performance management, recruitment, and building a positive, high-performing and collaborative team culture. You will need a good understanding of HR practices, strong communication and problem-solving skills, experience with HR information systems and reporting and the ability to effectively manage a team.
