We're seeking a Network Administrator augmenting one of our client's based in Sydney for an initial 6-month contract. Are you ready to take your networking skills to the next level? As a Network Administrator, you will play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the network infrastructure that supports seamless operations.
Your day at NTT
- Provide technical support to network and communications customers and work closely with suppliers to ensure uptime. Build capability across the Technology team, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and coaching
- Operate infrastructure including the IP network, Wi-Fi, and telephony to ensure fault tolerance and scalability
- Monitor and report on network and communications platforms to enable a swift response to downtime or other issues. Undertake investigations and report on performance problems and downtime to inform continuous refinement of practices that reduce the likelihood and impact of future incidents
- Design and implement computer networks that meet performance and security requirements
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Participate in regular replace or refresh projects, ensuring probity, value for money, and best practice
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Network Administrator, with hands-on expertise in managing and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
- Key technologies include: Proficiency with Global Protect VPN, Experience with IPsec Tunnels, Strong understanding of Certificate Management, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers (Virtual), Arista Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls (both physical and virtual) and Avaya Phone Systems
- Demonstrable experience with and understanding of IP networks, LAN / WAN / MAN environments, network security principles, and other core networking components,
- Experience working within the live entertainment, broadcast, or sports industries, with familiarity in technologies such as Dante, DMX, and QSYS will be highly regarded
