About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker Multi Skilled to join our team. This role involves supporting seniors and NDIS customers to remain in their homes. You will be based in Kwinana and surrounding areas, working alongside customers with varying needs to provide tailored person-centered services and activities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification
* Experience working with seniors, individuals on mental health recovery journeys, and those living with disabilities
* Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse customers, families, carers, community agencies, and professionals
* Enthusiasm and engagement when interacting with customers
* Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality issues
* Ability to provide domestic assistance services
* Independence and teamwork skills
* Good written communication, computer, and mobile device skills
* Proactive approach to safety and well-being
* Current Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions
* Reliable roadworthy vehicle for customer visits and community access
* Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and registration
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
* Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willingness to apply)
