Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the governance and strategic direction of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the governance process, including attending regular Board meetings and important related meetings
* Provide guidance and feedback to our School Leadership, where appropriate
* Have or be prepared to obtain appropriate working with Children approvals
Requirements
* Capacity for independent and strategic thinking
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to build working relationships with fellow Directors and sub-committee members
* Fully participate in the governance process, including an understanding of the policy role of a Board
Desirable Qualifications
* Formal qualifications from a body such as the Australian Institute of Company Directors
* Prior experience in governance practice as a Board member or as a senior executive
