Job Details
* Preparing buns, cakes, biscuits, and pastry goods
* Glazing buns and pastries, decorating cakes with cream and icing
* Preparing pastry fillings: cooking pies, sausage rolls, pasties; making cream and icing
* Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods
* Coordinating forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products
* Operating machines that roll and mould dough
* Checking equipment cleanliness and occupational health and safety compliance
* Checking raw material quality and weighing ingredients
* Monitoring oven temperatures and judging baking times by product appearance
* Operating machines that roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
* Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment
* Managing stock and stock ordering
Requirements
* AQF Certificate III with at least 3 years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
* At least three years of relevant experience
* Portfolio: picture of cake and pastry work
* Eligible to work in Australia (for international applicants: English proficiency and standard criteria for working visa as required by Australian immigration)
