**Role Purpose**:

The role requires the strongest combination of up-to-date actuarial know-how for property and casualty insurance with high demands on management skills and excellence in leadership in professional and personnel topics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reserving, Regulation & Financial Statements**- Leading the actuarial function to ensure compliance with all internal, external and professional standards and assume responsibility for adequacy of technical provisions for the assigned business segments.- Cooperate with Corporate Actuarial colleagues globally and the wider organisation as well as with Allianz Group functions to build, maintain, streamline and strengthen processes, tools, reporting as well as the governance and control framework.- Support internal and external audits as well as regulatory procedures and Solvency II key function duties.
**Portfolio and Profit Management**- Drive technical excellence to create competitive advantage from an actuarial and financial perspective.- Empower team members and project groups to build risk modelling, pricing oversight and related monitoring techniques consistent with best practice standards.
**Other duties**- Lead activities to build and continuously strengthen the technical infrastructure and ensure high data quality.- Advise on the reinsurance arrangements.- Provide technical input into the annual planning exercise.- Assist the Finance function in areas such as financial projections, budgeting, statutory reporting and reinsurance accounting.- Support and contribute to the risk management of the business.- Engage in transformational programs according to the Strategic Agenda of the company and Allianz Group.- Full qualification in a recognised actuarial association with focus on P&C insurance.- Appropriate professional experience of at least 10 years incl. substantive experience in a senior executive role.- Diversity in areas of work performed, type of company / business and/or country of employment.-
