Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
* Assess and develop strategies to increase skills, improve emotion regulation, and reduce restrictive practices.
* Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, focusing on enhancing quality of life and promoting independence.
* Conduct assessments and provide interventions across the lifespan, catering to diverse presentations and needs.
Qualifications and Skills
* NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or ability to become registered)
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, or Allied Health
* Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and complex diagnoses (desirable)
* A car and licence
* National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
