Financial controller

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week).

This role is ideal for someone seeking a flexible working arrangement while still contributing at a high level and making a meaningful impact.

Working closely with management, you will take ownership of the company's financial oversight, reporting, planning, and operational financial control across multiple entities.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who can work independently, identify problems before they arise, and provide practical financial solutions that support business growth and efficiency.

• Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
• Monitor company spending and identify areas for cost savings and improved efficiency
• Review bank statements, reconcile accounts, and oversee cash flow across various bank accounts and entities
• Analyse budgets and identify financial gaps, risks, or overspending
• Prepare accurate financial reports and provide insights to management
• Support business restructuring initiatives and financial process improvements
• Ensure financial controls and systems are operating effectivelyWork across multiple business entities and adapt to changing priorities
• Identify proactive solutions and opportunities to improve business performance
• Liaise closely with management to support strategic decision‐making
• Assist with month‐end reporting, compliance, and general Financial Controller responsibilities

• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
• Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative and accountability
• Comfortable managing multiple entities and shifting priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership
