We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our CAMHS Connect team.
Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical leadership and mental health expertise to our clients. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for:
* Providing therapeutic triage and collaborative treatment planning for CAMHS clients
* Sharing day-to-day clinical leadership of CAMHS Connect with other senior staff
* Ensuring best practice standards for CAMHS intake and consulting on complex cases
You will work collaboratively with government agencies, non-government organizations, private providers, consumers, and carers to deliver high-quality care aligned with Department of Health and WCHN standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registered or eligible registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate
* Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience
* Demonstrated competence in delivering proficient and comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and direct clinical services to children, young people, and their families experiencing complex, acute, or chronic mental illness/trauma
