We are seeking a senior leader with the capability to shape how an organisation captures, interprets and acts on student insights at scale. This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who has led major research, evaluation or insights programs and can influence senior decision-makers across a large, complex environment.


About the Role

You will be the strategic lead driving a modern, integrated approach to surveys and student insights. In this role, you will uplift capability, redesign governance, and embed a unified framework that strengthens how the organisation measures performance, teaching quality and student experience.

You'll work closely with senior executives to ensure that insights generated from major survey programs directly shape institutional strategy, resource planning and continuous improvement.


What You Will Lead

* Build and deliver an organisation-wide survey strategy that sets future direction, governance, sequencing and capability uplift.
* Design and modernise survey methodologies, integrating best‑practice quantitative and qualitative approaches.
* Advise senior leaders through executive‑ready insights, strategic analysis, and high‑impact recommendations.
* Drive enterprise‑level improvement in survey processes, data governance, tooling and automation.
* Oversee delivery of major survey programs, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment across BAU and transformation initiatives.
* Strengthen organisational capability, building operating models, standards, reporting frameworks and decision‑support tools.
* Shape stakeholder engagement at scale, partnering with academic leaders, central portfolios, program teams and external vendors.
* Guide vendor and platform performance, ensuring reliable survey administration and continuous improvement.


What You Bring

* Leadership experience in research, insights, evaluation, data strategy or student experience within a large organisation.
* A strong track record of delivering institution‑level or enterprise insights strategies .
* Deep knowledge of survey governance, methodology and analytics.
* Ability to translate complex evidence into clear, compelling and influential narratives .
* Experience engaging senior executives and driving alignment across diverse teams.
* Strong capability in program oversight, vendor management and stakeholder leadership.
