Job Opportunity: Payroll Officer
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team, based at Somersby on the Central Coast.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll processing and administration, with a strong background in current legislation and awards impacting employment relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Process weekly payrolls for multiple companies using ADP Payforce, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
* Prepare month-end payments and payroll tax, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
* Generate end-of-month and end-of-year payroll reports, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
* Respond to payroll enquiries and adjustments, providing exceptional customer service across all levels of the organization.
* Administer our HRIS system, utilizing ADP Payforce to streamline payroll processes.
* Manage timekeeping systems, ensuring seamless tracking of employee hours and attendance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in payroll processing and administration.
* Knowledge of current legislation and awards impacting employment relationships, including industrial instruments and awards.
* Ability to understand complex rosters and loadings, ensuring accurate payroll processing.
* Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
* A high level of professionalism in all aspects of work, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
