About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Companion to join our team. As a Care Companion, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
You will be responsible for assisting new residents with the transition into our care home, coordinating admissions, and responding to queries and concerns from residents and their families.
You will also have the opportunity to advise new residents on additional services that are available and ensure they are delivered effectively.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to provide person-centered care, ensuring the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents are prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist new residents with settling into the care home
* Coordinate admissions and respond to queries and concerns
* Advise new residents on additional services available
* Work collaboratively with the care team to provide person-centered care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum Certificate 3 qualification in Ageing, Individual Support, Care, or Disability
* A passion for delivering world-class care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A strong understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
