With a strong reputation for excellence and a long-term future in the local manufacturing sector, they are now seeking an experienced and qualified Sheetmetal Worker to join their friendly and supportive team in Boronia.About the RoleIn this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the manufacture of ductwork from 3mm gauge steel – including forming, bending, rolling, and MIG welding.
Duct sizes range from 150mm to ****mm in diameter, offering variety and challenge in your day-to-day work.From time to time, you'll also assist with installing completed ducts at client sites (including some Saturday work).
Hours & Pay$46 per hour + overtime ratesMonday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:30pmFriday: 7:00am–1:00pmRegular overtime available on weekdays and SaturdaysWhat You'll BringTrade qualification as a Sheetmetal Worker (or proven equivalent experience)Strong skills in folding, bending, rolling, forming, and MIG weldingAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsA safety-first mindset and attention to detailReliability, dedication, and a positive attitude that fits into a tight-knit, friendly workshop cultureWillingness to work regular overtime when requiredPlease note: shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a weld test to assess experience and skill level.Why Join?
