Full-Time - Food & Beverage Supervisor (Beverage Management) - The Byford
About Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG): Join a team where passion meets produce.
Tillbrook Melaleuka Group (TMG) is a proud Western Australian family-owned enterprise committed to a true farm-to-table experience. Our diverse operations span from cattle breeding and farming to meat processing, retail, and nine vibrant hospitality venues.
We are dedicated to our people, our culture, and delivering exceptional hospitality. When you join TMG, you’re not just starting a job; you’re becoming part of a focused, dynamic family committed to growth and excellence.
The Role: Elevate the Experience
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially-minded Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor to drive our front-of-house operations and elevate our beverage culture. This is more than a floor-management role; it is a specialised position for a professional who lives and breathes the industry, from craft beer and fine wines to sophisticated cocktail service.
Working closely with the Group Beverage Manager, you will be the driving force behind The Byford’s beverage program. You will expertly balance the art of exceptional service with the science of stock control and financial reporting, ensuring every pour reflects our commitment to quality and innovation. If you are a natural leader with a data-driven approach to hospitality and a passion for mentoring teams, this is the perfect next step in your career.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Beverage Leadership: Partner with the Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager and Group Beverage Manager to curate an evolving, data-driven beverage program. You will leverage industry trends and supplier relationships to ensure our beer, wine, and cocktail offerings remain premium and profitable.
* Operational & Financial Rigor: Take full ownership of the beverage lifecycle. This includes weekly ordering, invoice management, and maintaining strict stock controls.
* Quality Mastery: Maintain gold-standard operations and beer line cleaning protocols. You’ll implement strict quality control measures to ensure every pour meets TMG’s high standards.
* Team Mentorship: Act as a lead educator for the Front of House team. You will identify training gaps and upskill staff on product knowledge, upselling techniques, and sophisticated cocktail preparation to ensure a consistent guest experience.
* Dynamic Floor Management: Lead from the front during MOD (Manager on Duty) shifts. You’ll manage peak-service congestion, handle complex customer enquiries, and adjust rosters in real-time to balance labor costs with exceptional service.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
* Proven Supervisory Experience: You have a solid track record in high-volume hospitality environments. You are comfortable leading Level 2 and 3 F&B Attendants and making quick, informed decisions under pressure.
* Technical Expertise: You possess extensive product knowledge across craft beer, wine, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems, stock management software, and the Google/Microsoft workspace is essential.
* Compliance & Safety First: You have a sharp eye for WHS requirements, hygiene standards, and security procedures.
* A Growth Mindset: You don’t just maintain the status quo; you look for \"incremental gains.\" You are proactive in identifying development opportunities for the beverage program and the service team alike.
* Professional Polish: You embody our values of Integrity, Progress, Hospitality and Teamwork, maintaining high grooming standards and a professional communication style with both stakeholders and guests.
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
* Current Food Handlers Certificate.
* Unrestricted Approved Manager Card.
* Chemform Training Certificate.
Our Commitment to You
* Culture: Join a dynamic, family-owned business where dedication to our team is central to everything we do.
* Growth: Collaborate with experienced industry professionals committed to sharing their expertise and providing clear pathways for career advancement.
