Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager to drive sales growth, operational excellence, and a positive work environment. This leadership position requires strong retail expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
* Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and implementing visual merchandising strategies
* Liaise with suppliers and negotiate stock orders
* Maintain accurate inventory control and perform regular stock takes
* Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement
* Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
* Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team members are meeting their goals
* Minimum 2 years' experience in retail management or leadership
* Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories is an advantage
