About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated Support Worker with experience in Mental Health to join our High Physical Support SDA team with a specialization in high‐care environments. The ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for assisting individuals with high‐care needs and will play a crucial role in providing personalized care to our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing person‐centred support in high physical support SDA settings.
* Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
* Creating a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
* Collaborating with clients, families, and support professionals to implement personalized support plans.
* Monitoring and reporting on client progress and needs.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or related field.
* Experience or a background in mental health.
* Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
* Experience in Mental Health is essential.
* Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities in a professional capacity.
To be Successful, You Should Possess:
* Experience in Mental Health
* Experience in SDA environments and with clients requiring high‐care support.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and families.
* Positive and empathetic attitude, adaptable to individual needs.
* Experience in mental health support is desirable.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
