Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvements in safety and training across departments
Ensure compliance with Redpath's Management Operating Procedures (MOPs)
Coordinate training needs analysis and maintain documentation
Oversee environmental compliance and workplace inspections
Deliver risk assessment and JSA training
Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
Support incident investigations and reporting
Contribute to roster change discussions and staff meetings
Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
Advise management on WHS legislation
About You
Proven experience in a senior safety role within mining
Certificate IV in OHS (mandatory); Training & Assessment (beneficial)Strong leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of WHS and Workers' Compensation legislation
ICAM qualifications highly regarded
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
