About Our Role
Are you an organized, motivated, and proactive professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a rapid‑paced healthcare environment? The General Medicine Department at John Hunter Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.
Responsibilities
- Clinical typing
- Managing phone inquiries
- Handling digital medical records
- Coordinating clinic bookings
- Performing a range of administrative duties
- Managing room bookings
- Assisting with Grand Rounds, including flyer creation and liaison with presenters
- Distributing the General Medicine Roster and On‑Call Roster
- Coordinating distribution of Advanced Trainee Education Sessions
