Employment Consultant – Remote Community in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory
What does your day look like as an Employment Consultant? As an Employment Consultant, you will be the welcoming face for participants engaging in ALPA's Community Development Program (CDP). Your mission is to provide tailored support, guiding individuals toward sustainable and meaningful employment while ensuring program guidelines and key performance measures are met. If you are passionate about empowering people and creating opportunities, this is the right fit for you.
Responsibilities:
* Provide employment services and support to participants.
* Assist participants in developing career plans and job search strategies.
* Maintain accurate case documentation and progress reports.
* Collaborate with partners to identify employment opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with program policies and key performance measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in Employment Services, Centrelink Services, or DES Workforce Australia is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work self‐directly in a remote community.
* Commitment to community development and cultural respect.
