Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist In Charge to lead our dental clinic and School Dental Service in the Kalgoorlie area. This is a permanent full-time appointment that offers a great opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the community.

As Dentist In Charge, you will direct and oversee the operations of the dental clinic, managing staff and maintaining equipment while providing routine and advanced clinical treatment to enrolled patients. You will also develop epidemiological data for the clinical area and initiate relevant community dental care programs aimed at improving dental health in the community through liaison with dentists, service organisations, education and local authorities and relevant community groups.

This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, patients, and community members. Additionally, you should have a strong commitment to promoting oral health and preventing disease within the community.

We offer a competitive salary package, which includes generous salary packaging to increase take-home pay, professional and career development opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive culture. Furthermore, an Attraction and Retention Incentive (ARI) of $17,000 p.a. has been approved and is payable to Dental Officers who are engaged in the Goldfields before 30 June 2025.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia

• Commitment to promoting oral health and preventing disease within the community
