We are seeking a committed Technical Assistant to provide high‐quality technical and laboratory support across teaching, clinical and research environments.
In this hands‐on role, you will work within a collaborative Technical Services team, supporting classes in areas such as Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Paramedicine, Chemistry, Microbiology and Healthcare Science.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a practical lab‐based environment, and looks to work collaboratively across multiple campuses and disciplines as part of a multi‐skilled technical team.
There are physical capability requirements inherent to this position thus as part of this recruitment, a pre‐employment functional screening is required.
About you
* Qualifications, skills and experience relevant to the role
* Knowledge and experience in chemistry, microbiology, anatomy & physiology, or related technical disciplines.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work accurately in a high‐volume environment.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a cooperative, efficient team.
* Ability to follow laboratory procedures and maintain high safety standards.
* Experience in maintaining records for equipment, chemicals and consumables.
