About The Role
At Woolies, our Proactive Services team ensures trolleys are available and stores remain in pristine condition, creating a hygienic environment for customers and colleagues. You'll work alongside your team, bringing a little good to everyone, every day.
What You'll Do
1. Drive a trolley collection vehicle to gather trolleys from car parks and nearby areas.
2. Push trolleys onto the vehicle, including ramps.
3. Return trolleys from the store and surrounding areas to the bays.
4. Complete pre-start checks and handovers for the vehicle.
5. Adhere to safety and operational procedures for vehicle use and trolley collection.
6. Follow road rules and report issues with unretrievable trolleys.
7. Assist with cleaning and waste disposal tasks as needed.
8. Receive full training and assessment for operating our trolley collection vehicles.
What You'll Bring
1. An ambitious mindset, a passion for retail, and a desire to grow your career.
2. A full (unrestricted) Australian driver’s license, Provisional P2 license (Green P Plates), or full International driver’s license.
3. Physical fitness for transitioning between driving and collecting/loading trolleys.
4. Availability to work across Monday to Sunday, with shifts starting at 6am or 4pm.
5. A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
