Your Responsibilities
* Work directly with case managers as part of a team to deliver the icare customer experience
* Encourage proactive and open communication with key stakeholders during decision making process
* Provide regular advice and feedback to Case Managers and Team Leaders on adverse decisions relating to injury management (treatment, services, medication etc)
* Report to the Injury Management community and contribute to practice and professional development initiatives
* Promote and provide injury management support to the claims team within agreed timeframes
* Where required, attend and participate in Client Meetings
About You
* A background in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Exercise Science)
* Excellent understanding of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 (NSW) & the Workplace Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 1998 (NSW)
* Demonstrated experience in Injury Management, particularly high-risk significant injury claims
* Ability and commitment to continuous learning
* Strong understanding of medical terminology
