The Project Officer Horticulture, will be responsible for delivering key traditional and digital extension activities to support the design and delivery of services and resources for the horticulture sector, particularly in northern Victoria and statewide, to make better decisions to achieve economic growth and build farm business resilience. This position will, work closely and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including horticulturalists and private service providers, industry groups and research organisations to ensure activities meet government and industry strategies, while contribute to the development of scope and rationale for potential future investment initiatives and funding. The position is expected to maintain connection to the Statewide horticulture team and broader Agriculture Services team network of state-wide colleagues and have opportunities to undertake training and development through formal and on the job training opportunities.
This is a fixed term position available until 20 February 2024. The work location for this position is Tatura with hybrid work arrangements available.
