Job Summary
The Senior Infrastructure Planner is responsible for contributing to the development of strategies to support effective policies, systems and processes for school infrastructure across Western Australia.
This role involves managing the development of benchmarks for educational facilities, contributing to generic school briefs, and developing feasibility studies and scopes of work to support proposals for projects and other initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead research initiatives to explore new trends, technologies, sustainability initiatives and best practices in school facility planning, design and construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance school infrastructure.
* Contribute to the development of benchmarks for educational facilities.
* Manage the development of generic school briefs and feasibility studies.
* Lead research initiatives to explore new trends and best practices in school facility planning, design and construction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Substantial skills and experience in reviewing, developing and implementing policies and procedures in an infrastructure planning context.
* Display substantial knowledge and understanding of the issues and trends influencing educational facilities planning and implementation, and their impact on educational outcomes and capital works programs.
