The opportunity
The Strategic Performance and Planning Lead is a key member of the Business Planning and Performance (BP&P) team, responsible for developing and improving CHW's long‐term strategy and reporting on performance against the 2040 Strategy.
Core objectives over the next 24 months include:
- Contribute to the establishment of an organizational Strategic Planning Framework (SPF) that integrates CHW's 2040 Strategy, Corporate Plan and other key documents to position the organization for future risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to the establishment of an organizational Project Management Framework (PMF) including methodology, templates, budgeting, governance and risk management.
- Lead significant organizational projects such as the ESC Pricing Submission in alignment with the PMF.
- Provide guidance to divisional program teams and stakeholders in developing and delivering key project templates and artefacts to support projects such as the 2040 Strategy and Corporate Plan.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of critical performance metrics and data, extracting insights to inform strategic decision‐making and promote evidence‐based action.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Postgraduate qualifications in business, science, environment, engineering or a related field with a project‐management component preferred.
- Corporate project‐management experience covering governance, stakeholder management, budgeting, change control and funding agreements.
- A skilled storyteller able to engage staff and align their work to strategic objectives, uplifting business capability and creating value.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to develop complex corporate reporting and briefing documents that are clear, inspiring and meet compliance requirements.
