Job Title: Field Service Supervisor
About the Role
The Plumbing Supervisor – NSW is a critical role that oversees plumbing related work performed by licensed contractors. This part-time position averages just half a day per week, making it ideal for an experienced plumber looking to reduce hours or someone self-employed seeking additional responsibility.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure all plumbing work is delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing installation, repair, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
* Providing clear instructions and guidance to field technicians and subcontractors
* Conducting regular audit and quality checks on plumbing works and repairs
* Performing routine safety inspections on plumbing installations/maintenance/repairs, identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including installation details, maintenance logs, incident reports, safety inspection findings, and audit outcomes
* Promoting a safety-first culture among all personnel, including subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar plumbing supervisor role. A valid plumbing supervisor & contractor license issued by the New South Wales Government is mandatory.
In addition to your technical expertise, we are looking for individuals who possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can quickly resolve technical issues. A commitment to following and promoting safety protocols is also essential.
