An opportunity exists at our Coffs Harbour, NSW location for a full-time Finance and Administration all-rounder. We are looking for a reliable person with a strong work ethic, an eye for detail and can-do attitude. This is a full-time opportunity working 38hrs per week Monday to Friday.
The position reports to the Senior Finance Analyst and is a Finance and Administration role that is responsible for:
Finance:
* End-to-end bookkeeping, including full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
* End-to-end weekly payroll processing
* Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations
* Ensuring compliance with BAS, tax, superannuation, and payroll obligations
* Assisting with end-of-month process, including journal entry and reconciliations
* Data entry to various company systems and assisting with various internal and external reporting.
* Providing support for audit requirements and sample requests
Administration:
* Front Office reception duties include answering telephones and greeting visitors.
* Completing travel and accommodation bookings for company employees.
* Maintaining the bookings calendar for company leased properties.
* Maintaining office and facilities supplies and equipment, and arranging facilities maintenance as required.
* Assisting with general administration tasks, ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
The successful applicant will have:
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Advance skills in the use the Microsoft Office suite and experience in the use of MYOB for AP and AR. Previous experience in manufacturing ERP systems would be an advantage.
* Experience in payroll processing and payroll data entry and sound knowledge of payroll related compliances.
* A professional and customer-driven approach to front office duties.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to work and be highly reliable.
* Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritise work tasks.
* Be a team player with a flexible approach to contributing to outcomes.
