Job Overview
As a member of the Transport and Sustainability department, this position plays a key role in the delivery of complex transport projects.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Transport Planning, the successful candidate will utilize their specialist technical skills in engineering and project management to manage consultants, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to deliver the pre-construction phases of key strategic projects such as complex intersections and road duplications.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project engineer with highly developed technical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder engagement skills, and excellent communication skills to join our team.
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with several years of subsequent relevant experience
* Extensive experience in project management of highly complex projects (transport desirable) including budgeting, design, and delivery of capital works
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in providing specialist technical and engineering support, and direct supervision of engineering work of unregistered Engineers.
* Professional Engineers Registration in compliance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019
* A current driver's license is required
