Nurse Immunisers and Pharmacist Immunisers
We are a Vaccination Administration Services (VAS) Provider to the Commonwealth Department of Health. We are currently seeking Nurse Immunisers and Pharmacist Immunisers who are based in WA to assist with the rollout of COVID-19 Vaccinations / Boosters and Flu Vaccinations in the region.
We are looking for the following health professionals to join our Vaccination Workforce and assist in the administration of COVID-19 vaccines / boosters and Flu Vaccinations to priority populations within Vaccination Hubs and In‑Reach Clinics:
The shifts are predominantly between Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM predominantly in locations all across WA. There may be some locations in regional WA, thus being able to travel and have access to your own car is a must.
Responsibilities
* Determine clinical suitability for vaccinations, including identifying any contraindications.
* Obtain and document informed consent from patients.
* Administer the COVID‑19 vaccine in accordance with protocol.
* Adhere to the cold chain process for vaccine transport and storage.
* Liaise with customer / manager onsite and set up of workspace for the day to administer vaccinations / immunisations.
* Provide supervision role to emergency authorised workforce.
* Report and provide feedback to Clinical Lead Coordinator.

Candidates who have completed the Immunisation for Health Practitioners or Understanding Vaccines and the National Immunisation Program course will be preferred but not essential for this role.
