The Senior Executive Services Officer plays a central role in supporting the Director General by ensuring the coordination, quality assurance and timely delivery of high level correspondence and governance activities. Working within the Office of the Director General, you will help maintain an organised, responsive and well connected executive office that operates confidently within a complex and fast paced environment. Each day you will draw on your judgement, organisation and communication skills to manage competing priorities. You will ensure the effective flow of information, maintain oversight of executive and ministerial correspondence, and coordinate matters requiring urgent or sensitive responses. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision making, strengthen relationships and contribute to initiatives that enhance how the office operates. Strong performance in this position relies on anticipating needs and maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism. You will work collaboratively with a small and dedicated team, supporting collective outcomes while also managing your own work independently. Your understanding of departmental processes, governance frameworks and executive expectations will enable you to provide advice, maintain compliance commitments and contribute to continuous improvement. This role will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships and is confident managing complex workloads. Your experience or exposure to senior support, governance, coordination or high volume information management will help you navigate the diverse responsibilities of the office.
