We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards and complies with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality midwifery services to patients in accordance with professional standards and guidelines.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
* Participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and night shifts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. In addition, they will have strong knowledge of acute hospital midwifery care and be able to apply evidence-based practices to optimize patient care.
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Skills, knowledge, and competency in acute hospital midwifery care.
* Clinical problem-solving skills to optimize patient care.
* Effective communication skills, including IT proficiency and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to coordinate midwifery care within a multidisciplinary team for outcome-based care.
