Job Description
The Transforming Corrections to Transform Lives (TCTL) Centre is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Support Officer. The position will contribute to the efficient and effective operations of the Centre, providing administrative support to the Centre’s leadership team, assisting with project coordination and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Provide high level administrative, and management support, including managing day to day operations.
* Prepare advice and recommendations, and assist in decision making, related to projects and/or operational matters, and contribute to business process improvement and business development activities.
* Review and update web content and social media, and coordinate events, workshops etc, as required.
* Assist academic and administrative staff, as required, in the use of University enterprise systems (finance, HR, procurement etc).
About you
To be successful in this role, you will;
* Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
* Value teamwork, continuous improvement, and possess a willingness to learn and develop skills.
* Demonstrate high-level organisational and administrative skills including excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle direction and multiple tasks concurrently, and the ability to work under pressure and within specific deadlines.
* High-level computer competency, including advanced aptitude in the Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
* Be flexible and readily adapt to changing work requirements and demands.
* Pay attention to detail and thrive in a positive team environment as part of the TCTL Centre and broader Griffith Criminology Institute.
Existing knowledge of Griffith systems (e.g. finance, HR, procurement), or the ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge, is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in managing websites, social media platforms and public relations engagement, including developing promotional material for distribution is highly desired.
What we can offer
This is a fixed term (to 30 June ), full-time position with a potential for extension and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Mt Gravatt campus. A part-time appointment (0.8FTE) may also be considered. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary for a HEW Level 6 is in the range $87, - $93, per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $, - $, per annum.
