Responsibilities include commissioning, maintaining, repairing our advanced drilling machines, and operating them when required.
The role reports directly to the Mechanical and Site Superintendent.ResponsibilitiesReassemble Robodrill drilling machines on-site after transportation to ensure proper setup.Set up and thoroughly test machines before operations.Support Mechanical and Civil Engineers by assembling, installing, and analyzing machines to meet project needs.Conduct site inspections and maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.Ensure compliance with project plans and complete tasks per contract specifications.Perform site commissioning and start-up with customers.Carry out mechanical maintenance, upgrades, and renovations adhering to safety standards and production requirements.Guide customers on best practices for machine use.Identify and mitigate risks through preventive measures.Train on-site operators in driving and maintaining machines.Supervise inspection and maintenance to ensure efficiency.Manage technical issues and maintain good customer relations.Coordinate with the French design and technical departments for optimal machine performance.Skills and QualificationsMinimum 7 years of experience in on-site aftersales service, preferably internationally.Ability to work autonomously and adapt to various conditions, especially in tunnel construction.Proficiency in English and French.Specialized knowledge in electromechanical assembly and automation machinery.Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in maintenance, engineering, or related fields preferred; candidates with at least 3 years' relevant experience considered.Proven leadership and project management experience (5+ years preferred).Personal AttributesEnergetic with a positive outlook.Strong communication skills, especially in multilingual environments.Knowledge of construction site safety protocols.Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and electromechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret project plans and technical diagrams.Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to work with diverse professionals.Capable of thriving in tunnel construction site conditions.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.Professionalism and driven attitude.Only qualified applicants will be contacted.
