**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner - Licensed Field Sales & On-Premise, the **Commercial Partnership Manager** role is responsible for providing sound commercial guidance on contract re-signs and new business tender processes to deliver optimised EBIT outcomes and risk mitigation in partnership with the wider National On-Premise Sales team.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, agile thinking, great communication and stakeholder engagement to generate complex scenario modelling across full breadth of P&L and its drivers, formulate recommendations and influence with compelling insights and analysis. The role will also provide support on commercial management across existing contract base with Sales stakeholders to ensure value generation on our investments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Commercial review and analysis of National customer agreement submissions in conjunction with Sales to maximise commercial outcomes whilst identifying financial risks
- Recognising and solving contractual hurdles through analysis and modelling
- Summarising key drivers and performance outcomes to make recommendations to the business based on risks to agreement obligations
- Continuous improvement of processes and tools that enhance and drive value through the agreements process
- Manage the end-to-end BAU agreement compliance procedures to ensure business operations comply with Chart of Authority, SOX requirements, internal policies & procedures
- Coach and develop Senior Analysts within team to broaden their commercial acumen
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Strong understanding of financial and commercial drivers that impact a customer agreement, as well as understanding of our business unit's competitive environment across our multiple beverage portfolios
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability and good understanding of P&L drivers & management
- Proven experience in providing sound commercial advice, influencing commercial outcomes and challenging decisions appropriately using fact-based data, with ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts simply to build commercial awareness and understanding
- Sound organisational and prioritisation skills
- 2+ years' experience in commercial or accounting roles, or experience working in Sales, and a passion for customer centricity
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Commerce (not essential if proven experience working in Sales)
