About the Role:
We're looking for someone enthusiastic and ready to learn the ins and outs of sticker and sign production. If you're the type of person who enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to details, and wants to pick up some cool skills in the print and graphics world, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
We are somewhat flexible in hours worked. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and you'll be working anywhere from 25 to 35 hours a week. You'll be working alongside our team to help create custom stickers, decals, and signs for customers. This means learning to use equipment like vinyl cutters, large-format printers, laminators, and heat presses. Day to day, you'll help prep materials, load machines, weed vinyl (removing the excess material around designs), apply transfer tape, and help finish products so they're ready to ship or install. You'll also help keep the workspace tidy, do basic equipment maintenance like cleaning and blade changes, and keep an eye on inventory so we don't run out of materials. You'll responsible for packaging orders up to post and also doing small vehicle installs.
One day a week, you'll take the lead on our social media—this is a crucial part of the role. You'll be creating engaging content, snapping eye-catching photos and videos of our projects, planning posts, writing captions, and keeping our followers hooked with stories, reels, and creative updates. We need someone who knows what performs well on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and can help grow our online presence.
What We're Looking For:
Someone who's eager to learn the production side and already knows their way around social media. You should be reasonably handy, able to follow instructions, and have a good eye for spotting when something doesn't look quite right—both in our finished products and in what makes a great post.
You'll need to be comfortable being on your feet during the day and able to lift materials up to25kg. Basic computer skills are helpful since you'll be reading work orders and maybe doing some simple file prep down the line. You must be well presented, personable and able to communicate comfortably with customers.
Must-Have:
Strong social media skills are essential. You should be comfortable creating content, understanding what engages audiences, and be genuinely excited about showcasing our work online. If you're already the person your friends come to for social media advice or you've successfully grown accounts before, you're exactly who we're looking for.
Experience:
Ideally, we are looking for someone with at least six months experience in a production based role (but we are willing to train the right person who is keen and ready to work). But you do need to bring solid social media know-how to the table. Experience with photo/video editing apps, content planning tools, or running business social accounts is a definite bonus.
