About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Process (Production) Engineer to join our Chlor Alkali Team on a permanent full-time basis in Kemerton, WA. This role suits someone early in their engineering career, whether you're a recent graduate or have a few years of experience. You'll join a high-performing team focused on safe, reliable, and efficient chemical production, with a strong culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the process to identify and rectify any process deviations,
* Troubleshoot plant deviations and upsets,
* Investigate all process upsets and identify actions to prevent recurrence,
* Identify, scope, design, and manage improvements through management of change processes,
* Assist operations, maintenance, and engineering teams as needed.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* Relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering, or similar Science
* Up to three years of post-graduate experience
* Positive, can-do attitude with significant initiative
* Willingness and curiosity to learn
* Proven critical thought processes
