Location: FIFO ex-Perth
Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off
Contract Type: Casual / Contract
Duration: Initial 12-month term with potential extension
Start: Immediate
Rate: $575/day + 12% super$600/day + super after 100 days worked (pending performance)
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Exploration Geologists to contribute to a large-scale gold exploration programme in Western Australia. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team working on a significant project with a substantial drilling budget.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement exploration programmes, including RC drilling
* Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and logging
* Interpret geological data to inform exploration strategies
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
* Minimum of 1 year experience in exploration geology, preferably in gold
* Proficiency in geological software and data interpretation
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Valid manual driver's licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Only candidates with full Australian working rights will be considered
