About The Role
This is a fixed term part time position up to 30 June 2027 (22.5 hours per week) located in Queanbeyan.
This position will provide integrated, recovery-oriented care to individuals experiencing both substance use and mental health concerns. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on holistic assessment, treatment planning, case management, counselling and group facilitation to address the complex and interconnected needs of clients.
You will deliver coordinated, trauma‐informed and person‐centered interventions, collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, and support access to appropriate mental health, AOD, and community‐based services to improve outcomes and continuity of care for clients and their families.

Skills & Experience
* Qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or another relevant discipline, with current professional registration or accreditation (e.g. AHPRA, OTA, AASW, APS, PACFA, or ACA).
* Experience in health and community services working with people with complex, co‐occurring needs.
* Demonstrated knowledge of evidence‐based AOD and mental health interventions, including harm minimisation principles, recovery‐oriented practice, and integrated care models.
* Demonstrated ability to work with clients using a trauma‐informed, strengths‐based and person‐centered approach, including people experiencing distress.
* Demonstrated experience in holistic assessment, care planning, case management, and coordination of services across AOD, mental health, primary health and community sectors.
