Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager Role Overview
This role plays a pivotal part in the delivery of best-practice case management to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals.
* Case managers will be responsible for managing a caseload, developing meaningful relationships with clients, and addressing offending behavior through evidence-based interventions.
* A key aspect of this role is the development of cultural support plans for Aboriginal persons, tailored to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
* Case managers will also work closely with Aboriginal organizations and other stakeholders to strengthen the case management of Aboriginal persons.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Excellent communication skills, enabling them to build rapport with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
* In-depth knowledge of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, its issues, and challenges.
* Experience in implementing best-practice case management frameworks, driving positive outcomes for clients.
* The ability to apply theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximize individual success.
This rewarding opportunity provides a salary banding of $97,955 - $111,142 per annum, plus superannuation. It also offers scope for continuous improvement, innovation, and growth.
