Role Overview The Clinician Researcher Physiotherapist is responsible for specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy services in a clinician-researcher capacity. This includes leading clinical research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives within the department and across MNCLHD. The role involves service development, evaluation, advanced clinical reasoning, and providing expert consultation and education in the area of specialization. Additionally, this position is linked to the PACE-RURAL trial, aiming to improve health service delivery for people with chronic musculoskeletal conditions in rural, regional, and remote Australia through an evidence-based clinical pathway and a consumer-focused research approach.
Candidate Requirements Bachelor degree in physiotherapy or equivalent, with registration or eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills in a dynamic environment. Experience in clinical research and understanding of the research process.
