The Opportunity We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the P-8A Poseidon Program at RAAF Base Edinburgh, Adelaide. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems. You will:
* Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
* Ensure compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
* Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
* Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
* Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel
What You Will Bring To BDA As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures)
* Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
* Hold a current driver's licence

* Previous experience working with Military aircraft
* Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
This role may require travel and periods working away from home. It's a great chance to immerse yourself in a different environment with our customer while carrying out the duties of the role.
