Cranfield Group's long-established commercial construction client is eager to expand their team! With several new contracts and projects on the horizon, our client is actively seeking qualified plumbers for ongoing contract work on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. Competencies: Prior experience completing drainage and inground works preferred Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation Assemble and install valves and fittings Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls Perform tests on plumbing systems to check for leaks and other problems Adhere to safety standards and building codes Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials Requirements: Trade Qualified - QLD or NSW plumbing licence White card Proven experience as a commercial plumber Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.) Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills Excellent physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces On offer: Family orientated team environment $50p/h plus super, OT and travel of $21.94p/day Opportunity for growth and progression into fulltime employment Supportive management team Immediate starts for the right person If you are looking for work, a change in roles or know of someone who is, please email your resume to samantha@cranfieldgroup.com.au to discuss further.
